Best Set of Wooden Blocks

I feel wooden blocks are a staple that every house should have. They are just a simple toy but the learning that can come out of them is priceless. Believe it or not, finding a good set was not all that simple. Some of them blocks were not smooth while others did not come in nice colors. I am very happy to share with you this great set of wooden blocks.

Design:

The overall design of the wooden blocks are really nice. They are made from solid wood and most covered in color. The colors are really nice and bold. They are different from any other sets I have had in that they are not all neutral and the colors are nice and vibrant. Very stimulating to the eye. Kids love simplicity and color. this set gives it to them.

Summary:

To star of with, wooden toys are just one of those toys that will not only enhance the imagination, but it can be used as a fun educational tool. For example if your little one wants to make a bridge, rather then just building a basic bridge, show them a copy of the Golden Gate Bridge and see if the two of you can build it together.

Simple Math Pattern

It can also be used for math. While a simple math pattern is fun, for a child first starting out this will be more challenging then they realized. The good news there is so many different shapes and colors that comming up with patterns will be fun.

Pattern with Stacking

Of course when making simple patterns is easy, you can add that to stacking skills and you have your new challenge. One of the kids I work with could not stack a tower no matter how large the blocks were. As we used cubes in school at first it was difficult. The smoothness and length of these blocks were easier to handle. Once mastered, we moved into more challenging cubes.

Having Fun

Of course the imagination is really all up to you and the child. We were just fooling around and came up with this little bride structure. To be honest with you, we needed lots of help building this.

Blocks in Carry Bag

My favorite feature is the carry bag. As you can see, it is just adorable. The bag is large enough to fit all the blocks. I love it when my 2 year old nephew runs around with his bag. It is just the perfect size for a child.

Pros:

Unlimited education
Fun
Colorful
Visually stimulating
Well made/ good quality

Cons:

Canvas bag cold be slightly larger

Bottom Line:

In my opinion, every child should have a set of quality wooden blocks. Imagination Generation Wooden Block Set is just that. In addition to the creative play, the education is just endless. There is so much to do with wooden blocks that pared with the Wooden Train and your Wooden Professionals your child is set for hours of play.
